Has Shooter's dad always done this? I've always noticed how he acts almost like a mostly-impartial manager when a big move is hit, encouraging whoever hit the nice to do the cover, but the bit he does pre-match measuring the chants seems new to me, albeit completely in character for his schtick.
As a Western fan, is there something to this that I'm missing? What is the character of Red Shoes in the eyes of Japanese fans? And is the applause meter new, or an I just noticing it for the first time? ありがとう
