Do language schools care what your job was?

Hi, sorry if this isn't the right sub but I can't find any info on this. Language schools in japan all require a lot of documents for applications, and previous jobs are one of the things they ask about in a lot of detail it seems. I've been self employed for 9 years streaming on twitch, selling art, OF, and investing in houses and I'm worried I won't be able to provide proper proof of steady work in a traditional sense besides bank statements showing that I make enough money to go to their school. Idk how important it is for me to have had a proper steady job for them to approve my application, or if they would judge because of the OF (which, of course, I would NOT be doing upon moving there, but it's on my bank statements that they ask for, and is a big chunk of my income) So I'm not sure if this would be seen as a red flag, or if they just care that I'm making enough money to go to their school and that I'm not doing anything illegal/against any rules while living there?
Sorry for the long post and I know that type of work isn't regarded highly on reddit either but I do want to try to go to language school in japan and then go on to a college so that I can do something more helpful and fulfilling in life instead of my current path. Any insight or advice would be very appreciated! 🙂
