I’m currently on a JR Kyoto Line train to Osaka, and I cannot for the life of me determine how many stops the train will make and where. I’d very much like to know how many stops I am from my destination so I don’t miss it. But even official looking websites just say things like, “This is a very convenient line! It costs this much. Here are some ads for hotels in the area.”
I know it’ll be fine, and I do see a display indicating what stop is next. I’m just baffled by how difficult it is to find a list of stops online.
Edit: Thanks for the help, folks. My main takeaway: signs in Kyoto Station directed me to Kyoto Line, which Google calls the Tokaido Sanyo Line. So Google had the details, just under a different name.
