I'm looking of a place to go in Japan to base myself for 4-5 days where I can do some some great day hikes from. I'll be going in April so not the Alps, unless anyone can reccomend some lower routes? I'm looking for Hiking not mountineering. Can anyone advise? I intially was going to do s section fot eh Kumano Kodo but was finding it stressful to arrange the accomodation and route so far in advance
