I am moving to Tokyo for a study abroad, and won't have access to my permanent residence there for the first four days after I land. I land the 5th, but can't move in until the morning of the 9th. My plan is to live out of my backpack for four days and have my checked bag and carry on shipped to my dorm. I'm staying in four different hotels across the four nights as I travel around to different places and don't want to lug the suitcases around with me. The services I've been able to research all talk about same day delivery, but I need them to wait a few days. Will that be more expensive to have them store them? Is there a better way to handle this than having the airport hold them? The dorm I'm staying at won't hold my luggage, so I can't send it early.
