Is Wanikani good for someone who already knows a decent amoutn of kanji?

I am around the N3 level and currently know about 650 kanji, although I can't recall them all equally. I've heard good things about wanikani, but it was from people learning kanji from 0. Is there any feature to skip the early levels or do you have to sit through all of them? Even if the early levels can't be skipped, is it a good resource regardless?

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts!
