Moving to Japan as a Japanese citizen, with US investments/savings

I am a dual citizen, and I have been living in America my whole life as an American citizen. I am curious what the boundaries are regarding investing in my American accounts as a Japanese citizen? Would they have to be closed or could I still invest?

I would like to keep my accounts open in the long term, in the off chance I do decide to move back to America (I will have an address in America during my time in Japan). What happens in the scenario when I do decide I would want to sell my investments, while living in Japan?

Would I also have to close savings accounts collecting interest as well?

Any help is appreciated, as well as resources to find! Thank you.
