What areas to mostly avoid if I don’t like crowds when in Tokyo and Kansai?

I'm okay with crowds, just rather not be in them too long. People tell me I should visit Shibuya Crossing but to me it's just an area with big crowds and where a scene from Fast and Furious took place, nothing else, so no reason for my to visit.
As u/hillbilly-man said, it's not much of crowds but the thought of "this place is too small for all the people here", but also I'd add, coming from the states at least, crowds = loud, as in nyc loud, but I do always have my AirPods on me and a playlist of relaxing music and a few offlined podcasts.

I don't drink or party, so for any night life I would like to visit least crowded places. Maybe a nice scenic spot with good plant-based food like noodles, soup, tofu meals, sushi or pizza.
