I’m sorry I don’t have a direct answer to your question, but I interface with a couple private interpretators. I’ve worked with both in the past both in and out of the country, they both tend to spend about half their time in Japan and half traveling for various clients.

I’ve worked with these 3 companies.
NHK is very expensive but has the best roster.
Simul can be hit and miss depending on the person you get.
ISS had good service and performance overall.
If you have specific needs, request to see the interpreter’s experience before signing to make sure they have relevant experience.
