I am new to living in japan and I am still getting used to the garbage system here, two weeks in so far I have been doing quite well, however this week I ended up with huge amounts of cardboard which is normal given you are moving in, anyways I tried my best folding it flat and wrapping it tight with a tape, I made two such flat and and taped cardboard stacks but I still had a bunch of various sized cardboard that I had to get rid of so I flattened them and fit them inside a cardboard box, and I have seen neighbours do this and I saw it getting picked up so I thought okay no problem so long it's reasonably held together well, well I just woke up from a nap to find the cardboard soaking under heavy rain, I took a walk around the neighborhood and most if not all garbage is gone apart from my collection of cardboard, I feel really embarrassed and clueless rn, what should I even do with this soaking wet cardboard now?
