I learned that it is possible to open a store on Rakuten Ichiba as a sole proprietor (koujin jigyou) and need to submit the startup business notification
-> no problem for me. I have been filling for kakutei shinkoku (blue form) for many years.
However, the account executive, upon learning about spouse visa (married to a Japanese) suddenly changed mind and said:
For spouse visa, our company rules state that only corporations that have been in business for one year or more can open a store.Â
If I will go open a store as a sole proprietor route, I was told the below are the only acceptable visas:
Permanent Residency
Business manager visa for 3 years or more
Highly-skilled professional No. 2
I will understand that if I have instructor visa (for example) I cannot open a store because of limitations on the activities.
But this case, I dont get it.
Spouse visa supposed to have no limitations on the activities. Why suddenly the Rakuten account executive change mind that suddenly I am required to be a corporation?
And then my # of years as a koujin jigyou became suddenly irrelevant because of spouse visa.
Does anyone has an experience with opening a store on Rakuten Ichiba? Should I talk to another account executive?
