I have been applying to jobs in Japan on many mid-career portals but most don't respond because I'm not in Japan anymore. I also don't get much scout messages. Except for this one platform called mid-tenshoku by the company en.
The scout messages there read like marketing emails and I used to ignore them before thinking they're spam. But I noticed there are many follow-up messages saying things like "this special scout message was only sent to 10 people and you're one of them" "we liked your profile so much we decided to message you again even though it's rare" "We really want to talk to you, please let us talk to you", etc.
How do I filter through these messages to find genuine ones? Or should I give them all a reply assuming they're all genuine?
