I am asking this question for a very young Japanese citizen who studies in Japan and speaks perfect Japanese. Here goes:
In many countries, including Japan, medical school is usually a 6 year ungraduate course.
In recent times, there's been a move in some countries for medicine to be a grad school course. Basically you first study for a relevant 4 year degree, then you spend another 4 years in grad school to be a MD/MB.BS.
Are there any universities in Japan with a grad school course for prospective MD students who want to practice as medical doctors in Japan?
I know some universities have a bunch of post grad research programs. But these don't allow graduates to practice medicine.
Thanks in advance.
