Fellow Tokyo residents…if given options to move to NYC or Dallas where would you choose and why?

As the title says, I am torn between the two options in front of me as I am deciding where to go for college between the two cities.

I love Tokyo and can’t imagine I am trying to move out but I got to do what I got to do. Anyone here have any experience living these cities and how would you compare these two with Tokyo?

I am also concerned about job/career opportunities. Which place will be better?

I like driving but I can’t drive everywhere. I prefer public transport, so I am bit leaning towards NYC but then I just want to hear some opinions of others.
