Hi community, I recently moved to Japan, and having some charging issues for road trips(planning to go Wakkanai). It would be great if you can give me some suggestions, especially for EV charging.
I got 3 cars(NACS model y, CCS1 macan and CCS1 EQS ) here and the import process was super smooth, even got deducted rate.
I tried 2 adapters (chademo to CCS1) from alibaba and it seems maxed out at 20kw. It's slow, and there's no Tesla charging in the middle of Hokkaido.
My main issue with Tesla superchargers is the location, it's always in a city center, chademo chargers are always in Aeon so you have something to do.
I contacted Tesla Japan and it seems they don't have chademo adapters anymore. Stucked with superchargers is not so bad but I really don't want to go in cities just for charging.
I really want to learn is there any adapter can charge at promised speed!
