Hey y'all! I'm thinking of flying into Japan somewhere in 1/2 – 1/4. I know that a lot of places are going to be closed for New Years so was wondering what kind of stuff will be open to do. I'm probably planning on leaving around the 11th to meet friends in Korea so wondering if its worth flying in a little earlier on the 2nd / is there enough to do versus just flying in on the 4th where more things are open? Is there a specific city where things might be more open? Was interested in seeing the shrines on new years too. Thanks!
