Osaka to Fujikawaguchiko

I have my itinerary (hotel wise) booked for my Japan trip and was wondering what people suggested was the best way of travelling from Osaka to Fujikawaguchiko.
I’d appreciate some guidance and anyone who might have done the same to let me know some tips from their experience.

Also, regarding booking trains and busses to go to these places do you suggest booking in advance or at the station before travel?
