Mt. Fuji hike – hiking stick stamps cost on Yoshida trail

I had an amazing experience hiking the Yoshida trail in mid-July. Honestly, I highly recommend the hike, though I personally wouldn’t do it again anytime soon. As someone with little to no hiking experience, even though I had the right gear and was somewhat mentally prepared, the hike was far more exhausting than I expected. I also made the mistake of not bringing enough cash, and we ended up relying on the little pool of cash we had left as a group. This left us with no money to buy souvenirs at the shrine on top.

Anyway, I couldn’t find this information beforehand, so I’d like to share a list of costs for the stamps at each station. Shout out to this awesome site, https://fuji.halfof8.com/, which shows and animates the stamps (although some stamps I got looked slightly different). Below is a breakdown of the costs:

LocationName (English)Cost (yen)
富士山五合目5th Station(included in the stick purchase, I think 1000 yen?)
花小屋Hanage Ya500
日の出館Hinode Kan300
七合目トモエ館7th Tomoe Kan500
鎌岩館Kamaiwa Kan1000
富士一館Fuji Ichi Kan300
鳥居荘Torii So500
東洋館Toyo Kan300
太子館Taishi Kan500
蓬莱館Horai Kan300
白雲莊Hakuun So500
元祖室Ganso Muro500
富士山ホテルFujisan Hotel300
本八合目トモエ館8th Tomoe Kan500
御来光館Goraiko Kan500
久須志神社Kusushi Shrine300

Total is 6800 yen without the stick.

I saw hiking sticks with three different lengths – 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m – to which some are equipped various accessories.
