My dad is blacklisted from loans in Japan because of a big mistake he made years ago with his credit card. He’s now trying to get my mother to buy a house on her name but her income is very low so her budget is about 2000万円 . My parents never saved, and im not working yet to support them until I graduate and it’s a massive pressure on me because I think they can’t simply survive on pension . My dad’s company barely offered promotion and raises but he’s been working for them for 11 years. We are all Japanese citizens. I recommend that they purchase an apartment and then sell it or give it for rent in 10 years. Not sure what to do and need some opinions on potential options that can help support them after retirement. My mom is a cancer survivor so im not keen on her continuing to work any longer either
