On sept 5th at 23:25, a woman in her 20s was slashed with a knife in Yoyogi 3-chome. The Police arrested a 19-year-old Chinese boy, who was standing at the scene, on suspicion of assault. He is said to have said, “I did it because I wanted to kill someone.”

5. This was right outside where I use to live. Even the old man who works at the local 八百屋 gave an interview on tv. The conbini is right in front of the side exit to Bunka Fashion Uni and the local uni student run cafe so the area has a lot of young, mainly female, students in it. The guy said it wasn’t targeted and he just wanted to kill but not sure if that is true due to the area. Also that he didn’t do shit once a adult male came up to him, seemed pretty targeted tbh.

6. What would have happened if someone else beat him up to the point that he broke a few bones and said to him….

8. “i did it because i wanted to kill someone” and “誰でもよかった” used to be the favorite statement of crazy japanese random stabbers, but now even the Chinese have started using this phrase. Scary!
