Hello all,
I am currently a JET program ALT looking to transfer into a tech related job next year. I am also currently going back to school for software engineering online, and I will hopefully graduate this December.
The reason I'm making this post is to ask advice pertaining to JLPT level and the tech field. I have passed N3, and missed N2 by 2 points last December. I want to ask peoples opinion on whether I should take N2 this December again, or wait and try next July.
Reasons for wanting to take it are that I am planning on job hunting during February-April next year and N2 looks way better than N3. Plus JET program refunds test fee for a pass.
Reasons I want to wait are I am currently so busy with studying software engineering that I feel adding more study hours into each day will cause a lot of stress. Also splitting my focus will cause me to do poorly on both goals.
What do you all think?
