BicCamera at least used to have them. Haven’t checked in a while.
If you have a relatively recent iPhone or Android phone it probably supports eSIMs, so you could install an app such as Airalo, Ubigi, Holafly etc and get a data sim that way. There are tons of apps like this, I’ve personally used Airalo and Ubigi and I know someone who uses Holafly, Similar in price to the traveller SIM you’ll end up with from BicCamera or Yodabashi stores, and a hell of a lot easier to set up without having to remove your own SIM.
There is a vending machine for SIM cards inside the arrival hall at KIX airport. You can get data sim with cash or credit. Vending machine is always open. No need to worry about store hours. Good luck.
Any big camera/donki will sell you sim cards that you can use right away 🙂
Bic is the easiest, or just order one on Amazon and have it shipped to your hotel or FamilyMart
Some konbini have them, specially in touristic spots
