So it looks like the mod over at tokyoirl is taking a hard stance on same-sex posts after a large influx of ladies looking for other ladies to hang out with, etc (from my observation anyway). The sub actually helped me meet someone who I've thankfully become friends with, and had hoped to maybe use the platform to find more people of the same-sex with the same hobbies/career/etc, but from the looks of it that might not be doable from here on out. So I figured I'd ask if there was some kind of alternative but with the sameish format….
I know Meetup is obviously there as well, but for people like me who find group meetings a bit overwhelming, the sub helped me do smaller meetings which have been more up my alley. Sorry if this might not belong on here.
