Winter Comiket, how to apply as an artist

Hello Tokyo residents!

I want to participate in some artist alleys and conventions in Japan. I want to sell my genre and make contacts with other artists.

Japanese level: basic, N5

People have recommended me to go to Comiket with my art (which is a mix of fantasy illustrations with watercolors) There is a winter edition late december

How to apply as a foreigner? The Japanese webpage is all in japanese but I guess I could translate the page to apply.

( I have W&H visa) has anyone tried to be there as an artist? How is comiket in general? Is it better to go as an artist with a stall or just go here and show my portfolio to people that would be interested in my art.

Also I' open to hear any other artist conventions that I could attend over the year!

Many thanks!

P.D: I know knowing Japanese is essential, I'm studying everyday so I want to hit N4 level by December

Edit: Isee that Comiket applications are closed now 🙁 Thanks for the info. Will check all the other recomendations
