With the G1 over we've hit the peak of 2024 and what a bizarre, wild, amazing year its been.
Just a reminder that:
- Sanada got his first WK main event
- Okada actually left NJPW
- We had a 1hr, 10-man cage match
- Nick Nemeth & Matt Riddle won gold
- Sho became a grade A cowardly heel champ
- El Desperado finally won BOSJ
- TMDK finally won the tag title
- Douki won the Jr title
- Jon bloody Moxley won the Heavy title
- Tsuji won NJC
- ZSJ went and won the G1
- ZSJ then ended the 12yr tradition of G1 winner in WK main, pushing us into the unknown for the rest of 2024
It has been an absolutely crazy year for NJPW but it has still been incredibly enjoyable.
I can't wait for the rest of it!
