Favourite parts about working in an Eikaiwa? Any advice?

TL;DR Hi all, basically title: what are your favourite parts and would you have any advice to a new starter?

I recently signed a contract with a popular Eikaiwa and I'm excited to start in an urban location this Summer… also pretty terrified…! This job comes after a mental health break after uni and I've never had a proper job. I love languages, I've got a Level 5 TEFL cert and am working hard on learning Japanese. I've had informal teaching experience and I like travelling, so I feel somewhat prepared.

As for the company, naturally I've heard some good things and some pretty concerning things. Ultimately I intend to do my best at work and make the best of my time in Japan. I guess I'm looking for reassurance if you'll indulge me. There are valid criticisms of this Eikaiwa and others from what I hear, but what are some positives? Thanks in advance.
