Hi, my wife and in-laws are planning to visit me here in Tokyo next year, and I am trying to look for an accommodation for them in hotels(booking.com) and Airbnb. To my surprise, the cost is way too much out of my budget, 600k JPY average for 14 days for 5 adults and 2 kids. Has anyone here had an experience bringing their family to Tokyo and found a good place for them to stay that is reasonably cheap? One friend suggested to look for Airbnb outside of Tokyo, like somewhere in Chiba or Saitama, but as I currently live in Chuo ward, it would not be convenient.
