Hi all, I (28F) and husband(34M) and going to Japan for our 3rd time but first time together. We're planning doing the basic Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka since he only went to Kyushu.

We planned the trip day-to-day for a guideline but we're both chill and don't want to run to see everything, if we skip some stuff it's fine. I've lurked the reddit for quite a while, thought it'd be nice to get some feedback too!

17th October

• 12:30 Arrival at Haneda
• Checkin Hotel in Asakusabashi
• Walk around Asakusabashi while being very tired

18th October

• Ueno Park
  • Museums
  • Walk around the park
  • Eat in the area
• Akihabara
  • Shopping & arcades

19th October

• Tsukiji fish market
• Teamlab
• Walk around odaiba
• Ginza
• Pokemon cafe booked 18:30

20th October : 

• Day trip to Kawagoe for the Kawagoe Matsuri

21st October :

• Yoyogi Park
• Kintsugi Experience (booked)
• Harajuku
• Shibuya crossing
• Shibuya Sky (must book)

22nd October : 

• Day trip to Nikko

23rd October: 

• Walk from Asakusa to Skytree
• Shopping in the skytree + Pokemon center
• Enjoy the sunset in Skytree
• Walk by sumida river

24th October :

• Day trip to Okutama

25 October :

• Day trip to Hitachi seaside park
  • Walk around the Kochias

26th October 

• Ikebukuro
  • Batting center
• Shinjuku
  • Gotokuji
  • Karaoke
  • Have a drink in Golden Gai

27th October :

• Train for Kyoto
• Checkin Hotel (close to kyoto station)
• Walk around Kyoto station

28th October : 

• Day trip to Nara

29th October :

• Day trip to Universal Studio

30th October : 

• Trip to Kinosaki Onsen

31th October :

• Morning in Kinosaki
• Back from Kinosaki
• ?????
• It's Halloween ! Might want to find something special to celebrate

1st November : 

• Fushimi Inari
• Nintendo Museum booked 16:00
• Seems that there's nothing interesting around it, wondering about going to Uji which isn't really far or go back to the center of Kyoto

2nd November : 

• Kiyomizu-dera
• Nishiki market
• Gion
• Gion Odori booked 16:00
• Spend the evening in Gion

3rd November : 

• Day trip to Kibune/Kunara

4th November : 

• Bamboo forest ? But based on the comments maybe it’s not worth it ?
• Kinkakuji
• Ryoanji 

5th November : 

• Train for Osaka : Aonoyoshi sightseeing train
• Checkin hotel
• Dotonbori

6th November : 

• Day trip to Himeji
  • Himeji Castle

7th November : 

• Osaka Castle
• Osaka Aquarium
• Umeda Sky building

8th November

• Bye Japan, we cry in the plane (Kansai Airport)
