For those of you who’ve been to a Hardoff in the past, you’ll have noticed that there is every imaginable piece of old tech. Computers, laptops, graphics cards, cameras of all kinds, consoles etc etc. Everything. Except for vintage mobile phones. No matter to how many Hardoffs I go, the only phones they have are the used, usually more expensive smartphones that still have some use value.. but unlike with everything else, there aren’t any of the “110 yen if no label attached” thrift boxes full of old phones which they have for pretty much every other piece of electronic.
Is there some store policy why mobile phones can’t be there or any other reason? It seems to deliberate to be random.
