Help with item left behind in taxi

Hi, I left my passport in a taxi I took from ginza to suitemgumae. I don't have a receipt and flagged the taxi down by hand. I can't remember the company, but it was a blue Japan taxi.

I filled out a police report, but I don't speak Japanese so I can't call the taxi companies. Could anyone recommend next steps for me to take?
