I submitted my resignation notice on September 2nd, 2024, and my one-month notice period ends on October 2nd, 2024. I asked my manager about when to submit my formal resignation letter (退職願), but it feels like he (or the higher-ups) might be purposely stalling or ignoring the process. They kept saying you have to finish this or finish that before quitting or whatsoever. While there are still a couple of weeks left before my notice period ends, I'm wondering what my options are if they continue to delay things.
I don’t want to burn any bridges by just not showing up, but in case things go south, what can I do in this situation? I’d appreciate any advice on how to handle this.
Edit: Thanks for all the advice. As mentioned in the comments, I went ahead and submitted my resignation letter (退職届) directly to HR, and they’ve confirmed will start the 受理 process.
