  1. Does anyone have any advice for streaming services that I can use from my PS5? All the suggestions on this sub are to use chrome extensions etc to add jp subs (which I have done), but sometimes I just want to chill on my couch, watch something and not really worry about it. Is Netflix my best bet?

  2. I have a vocabulary question. Taken from Genki Chapter 8 regarding せんたくする (を)

My understanding is that, when I am specifying something that is being washed (e.g. a shirt), I would place the object marker after (shirt): シャツを洗濯する

I was reading a japanesepod101 post on せんたくする and found example sentences where they are talking about doing laundry in general, e.g. “The woman is washing clothes”

In these cases, they place the を in between せんたく and する… その女性は洗濯をしている.

This is confusing me. Is it possible to just say その女性は洗濯している, or do I need that を?
