Hot takes?

Here we go:
– Yota Tsuji = 2019 EVIL match wise. He is awesome for 15-20 minutes, everything after that is a struggle. Also, he has cooled off for me as a character too, because when he came back I thought he would be a Sean O'Haire-esque character. The overconfident smiler is not super intriguing to me. Tsuji must lean into the Dark Ace role eventually, and sell the smile as something sinister.
– Ren Narita is the best R3M performance wise. In the ring, he is like a weird mix of 80s Terry Funk, William Regal and Eddie Guerrero. New Japan must start treating him as the next top villain when he comes back, and for fuck sake, tell him to get a different haircut.
– Yuya Uemura is awesome, but his look is not. He is basically a blander SANADA – handsome dude in trunks. Hopefully he grows his mane back out and gets shinier gear.
– Drilla Moloney does Gabe Kidd's character better than Gabe. Some nights, Gabe is the best "under 30" wrestler in the world, and other nights he is just a British MJF. Not a compliment btw.
– the hate boners this sub has for Jake Lee is interesting to say the least. Oh well, the tears shall be glorious, because he will win the IWGP belt.
– David Finlay's original heel look was much better than the current one. I recently watched last year's Dominion with several friends (WWE-only fans) and my new doggo, and the crew practically audibly said "damn, that guy looks cool" when Finlay came out. Just because you made up some bullshit canon about him looking like Jay does not mean its true, nor does it mean the look was bad.
– dear ZSJ fans, if I calmly, politely and diplomatically tell you that I do not like anything about him, please do not attack me, threaten me and tell me I am wrong just because I do not like your favorite wrestler. Wrestling is subjective. Gracias.
– why is HENARE a babyface exactly?
– Shota Umino is the most fake, tryhard goodie-two shoes babyface since 2013 Mexican hero Alberto Del Rio. Bro needs to turn like a prisoner needs a woman – badly.
– it is nice to see people give DOUKI his flowers at last.
– Boltin Oleg's heel turn on Tana would feed families, but I don't think the company wants him to be a villain sadly.
– Clark Connors is great, but the other Dawgs are just a lot better so he gets overshadowed. If Clark was 5 inches taller he would be one of the top gaijins. Damn you mother nature.
