Can a Graduate Diploma in IT get you work in the IT sector in Japan?

I have the oppurtunity to study a Diploma of IT in Australia for very cheap on a government program. Can a Diploma of IT land IT jobs here in Japan (and what salary range, if so)? Or is it Bachelors/Masters minimum pre-requisites into the IT sector jobs?

EDIT: Sorry, some more clarification, I have a bachelors and a masters and I teach English in Japan. My degrees Are unrelated to IT though. The 'graduate Diploma of IT' is maybe an Australian University exclusive terminology for a Bachelor equivalent qualification that post-graduate students typically do. It equates to a Bachelors of IT basically in my country.
