Osaka Itinerary With Day Trips in Kyoto, Nara And Nagoya

After 4 years of saving and planning, we're finally going on our dream trip to Japan: 14 days in Osaka! We'd really appreciate any thoughts you have on our itinerary.

•Friday: Arrive in the evening and check into Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi

•Saturday: Easy day exploring the city and shaking off jetlag

•Sunday: Spend a day at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

•Monday: Day trip to Kyoto. Start with Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, get some lunch at Nishiki Market, check out the nearby Samurai and Ninja Museum (time permitting, explore the streets of Gion and then finish with Kiyomizu Dera Temple / Yasaka Shrine

•Tuesday: Explore Denden Town

•Wednesday: Trip to Universal Studios with Express Passes for Despicable Me, Jaws, Harry Potter and Mario Kart

•Thursday: Visit Osaka Castle and Kuromon Market

•Friday: Explore Dotonburi with a matinee at the local Kabuki theatre, and a nightime canal boat ride

•Saturday: Check out Umeda Sky Building and the surrounding area

•Sunday: Day trip to Nara. This one's looser than Kyoto, but we plan to spend most of the day in Nara Park to feed the deer, checking out places like Todai-ji, Kofuku-ji and Isuien and Yoshikien Gardens, and check out the city in the evening

•Monday: Day trip to Ghibli Park in Nagoya (premium tickets)

•Tuesday: Check out the Namba Shrine and Hozenji Yokocho alley

•Wednesday: Undecided

•Thursday: Head to the airport around 2:50pm
Maybe revisit a couple places if we have time

We'd also like to check out some Gunpla stores, or even a Gundam Base if there's one in Kansai, but we're not sure where to find one.
