Can’t download US & Aussie bank apps on my new android phone

1. What’s your Play Store Country? certain app makers only make their apps available to specific countries and you won’t be able to download if your play store is not in the right countries.

2. There’s plenty of VPNs out there that are free or have free trail periods.

3. Complain to your banks, they’re limiting the availability of their apps

4. Google Play Store is tied to the country you created the account in. My account was made in the USA years ago and I’m in the US Play Store.

   You have a couple of options. You can create a new account via VPN in whatever country you want, and then add that account to your Play Store. Hit your account photo in the top right of the app, hit the little down arrow to the right side of the menu that opens. You should see “Add another account.” You can add your US or Aussie account to your Play Store app. You will have to change the account any time you want to download a new app from one of those countries. But once the app Is on your phone it should work.

   Other than that you can change your current account address, add a US or Aussie credit card and change your “county” in account management and you have a chance of it changing.

   It’s a lot easier to make a second account via VPN. Home address, country, and credit card affect what region the Play Store puts you in.

5. Mana a new Gmail for that specific country. You might need a VPN for this. Log into it on the phone. You should have multiple accounts you can choose from now in the play store

6. You can ask someone to download the apk for you and send you the file. Did that for some apps for my wife.

7. Otherwise google the name of the app you want to download and write “apk” at the end. You’ll find a mirror for the app, download it locally and install it from your phone
