Hello, I speak a fair amount of Japanese and have been to Japan twice. Once as a high schooler, I went for a week with my class to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. After graduating I went with my friend for 2 weeks, we went to Tokyo, Yokohama, Tsujido, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Chiba. I was wanting to do a less major city intensive trip this time(maybe spending more time on the countryside, not to say I’m ruling out big cities entirely though). Some rough and undecided plans are staying at a Hotel in the mountains of Otari, I also wanted to visit Shikoku, and maybe visit some family in Osaka and Okinawa. I am a big fan of Onsens so I was looking to do some of that as well. Last trip there my friend and I went to an onsen called yunesan(probably spelled incorrectly). Also I have had this weird fixation with dams and bridges recently so seeing those would be cool and maybe taking some drone footage of them, but given that it’s winter I don’t know if that will impede that at all. I’m going for about 2 weeks and am open to suggestions. I’ve never gone in Winter before so any advice would be appreciated, especially regarding some of the places I was looking to go to.
