Will Ospreay on living in Kenny Omega’s shadow: “I’ve noticed [it’s best not to use the One Winged Angel] and I think it’s best to avoid it. As powerful as that move is, it’s not something I’ve perfected in training and it’s lead to my downfall. It’s not worth the risk just to piss him off.”

Easily the best NJPW/AEW cross over storyline by far for me. This really benefits the Ospreay character as a whole. If you watch the promo battle between them, Kenny was getting under Ospreay’s skin with the insults he was throwing, but Ospreay only got REALLY mad when he said he could beat Okada and Will couldn’t. Will can win the world title, he can go to the G1 finals, he can have a huge stable backing him, but nothing is going to really matter to him until he can prove he can beat Okada. Will hates Kenny for being what he can’t be.
I am loving Will’s character trajectory post-G1. This Kingpin run has done wonders for him.
He’s right. He used the OWA against Okada in the G1, which seems like a poor decision because he was against OKADA, and lost and tried using it on Omega and the Bucks themselves in the AEW trios semifinal.
Stick to the V-Trigger. Simple move and looks brutal.
