I am in the process of building a house and given the shape of our roof our builder said they could install solar panels at 1.02kw.
We asked about solar tiles thinking that would improve the density and the builder came back with two quotes from Kaneka. I can't seem to find much on this reddit of people talking about their experiences with the company.
I am in Tokyo and the costs of each of these offerings are
- 53万円 for the 1.02kw system
- 167万円 for 3.06kw from Kaneka
- 162万円 for 2.87kw from Kaneka
I am not sure why the cheaper one from Kaneka has less total energy. I have emailed my builder to get more details about these two options but wanted to see if anyone here has experience with Kaneka.
