I've already applied for my pension refund to be sent to my Chase account way back in Feb, but having not heard from the pension service since I got in touch with Chase about it and they said they don't currently support international bank transfers (I'm currently living in the UK). I was going to call up today to give different bank info, but I was wondering if it's at all possible to have it sent to my Japanese account? This is still open for the purpose of receiving the tax reimbursement. My old boss has the bank note and card etc. and I'm still in touch with them.
The main reason I ask is because the current exchange rate is diabolical (essentially 2:1) and I'm worried I'll lose a lot of money to that as opposed to having it sit in my Japanese account and collecting this in person when I visit again in the future. Is this something that is feasible at all?
Thanks in advance!
