I've lived in Japan a long time and one of the things I dread most about cold weather is wrestling (again and again) with my kakebuton cover. I've asked my wife to buy me one that's easy to attach but she just laughs at me so I come here to find commiserating souls. My semi-double cover is the typical kind with a zipper running along one side and six tie-downs. I would like to wash it more often but I hesitate because of how long it takes to reattach. It's not just the length of time, but the angst of getting it wrong and having to start over (which always happens). There has to be a simpler solution! How about a zipper running along three sides with snaps or buttons instead of loops and tie-downs? C'mon, this isn't rocket science, right? If YOU know of such a thing in Japan, provide a link, please.
