Luggage storage at onomichi

Hi 👋 instead of making a day trip to onomichi from Hiroshima .
Can I check out from Hiroshima, store my luggages at onomichi station then come back to collect it before making my way to Okayama to stay for the night?
Will storage facilities be available ?

I’m thinking it’s less of a hassle to travel all the way back to Hiroshima then leave for Okayama the next day .
