I might be getting shipped off to work there for a month. I'm not sure how accommodating my workplace is over there, but am generally just prepping myself to have to go find food alone a bunch of times throughout the course of a month. Which is of course going to be a different ball game than stuffing my dumb face silly with ramen and sushi and expensive crap for a week long holiday.
Nothing against conbini food, but I'd just like to avoid that if possible.
So I guess what I'm asking are for recommendations to any decently priced teishoku places? Which I assume will be generally quite balanced – expecting some main protein, hopefully some side veg and I guess there'll always be rice and miso soup. Probably looking at spending about 1-2k yen per meal.
My workplace is around Monzen-nakacho so I don't imagine I'd be venturing very far for lunch, but I guess I still got dinner and weekends to deal with.
My hope is that I'll be able to just join coworkers and go places without thinking too hard about it, but doesn't hurt to know some more standard fare places.
