Hi friends,
A couple of days ago I saw an ad on Gaijinpot for teaching part-time English camps for a company called Cosmo Co Ltd. I sent in my application and got a generic reply starting with “hello applicant”… long story short, it was an invitation to an interview, so now I’m curious if anyone had any experiences with them cause I can’t really find anything online.
Much obliged!

I had a glance at their job post.
While I have done English camps for schools, I’ve always participated as part of a school board program or private school event. The BoE or school coordinated with me to prepare the syllabus and materials. I was familiar with the curricula of the schools and the students, so I could adapt lessons to suit the students’ interests and levels.
Uh, no qualifications required and they claim they provide the materials? You’re at the mercy of the course runners.
The pay they offer is okay but they cheap out by not offering meals for a full day of work. Working all day is intense, and you need good sustenance for that.
