I have a prescription from a hospital. They told me I could get the medicine at any Pharmacy. I went to four pharmacies and they all said they couldn’t do it.
ボノサップパック800 seems to be the medicine they have issues with.
Two of the pharmacies briefly mentioned 外国 but I missed the rest.

I assume that the prescription is from a Japanese hospital? And the pharmacy that you went for are for 処方薬?
Did you go the the pharmacy attached to the hospital you received the prescription from?
Are you sure you were denied or is that just a guess? From your post it looks like you didn’t really understand what you were told. Maybe try going again with a friend who speaks Japanese or at least a translation app of your choice to better understand what the staff are saying.
Whenever I’ve gone to a hospital, they either give me the medication when I pay or tell me which pharmacy to go to, often right across the street.
I can’t say for your case, but there are some medicines that aren’t kept in stock at local pharmacies because of how seldom they are required. I have a couple of these, go to the same pharmacy all the time, and they order for my schedule (even asking when my next doctor appointments are and marking it to ensure they have stock when I come back).
In my case, when they didn’t have it the first time I went to the hospital, or when it changed to another medicine they don’t keep in stock, they gave me the option of having it delivered to my house once they order/receive it. Did they give you this option?
The other thing I would do is go back to the doctor and have them tell you where exactly to go and/or have them call pharmacies to see what is the best one. My doctors have given me recommended pharmacy lists when I first went to them.
It’s not unheard of that certain medication is out of stock even if it’s a proper prescription. If you don’t speak Japanese, use a translator app to ask them when they will have some in stock or else you will need call around and find a pharmacy that has it.
Because prescriptions expire after 4 days it would be unthinkable to not be able to find it within that period
Many medicines are no longer available partly due to covid partly due to the Russian war. According to my doctor, the supply chain for specific components is highly disrupted and some medicines cannot be produced anymore or in smaller quantities.
Depending on the medicine you should be able to obtain a generic alternative.
