  1. TBH, the title hasn’t felt the same since White disappeared with it last year. Not his fault, but for me that’s when the belt felt less prestigious. Although reigns from EVIL and Anderson certainly aren’t helping.

  2. This is implying its ever had prestige. It’s a hot potato belt and only one guy in recent memory has ever had a 5+ month run with it. And I barely count Jay’s because he did absolutely nothing with it. Absolutely zero prestige or power. It’s less a wrestling belt and more a actual prop at this point.

  3. Really terrible stuff.

It’s always been hot potatoed but it was kinda forgiven thanks to the often very hot matches that had this belt on the line.

Shingo’s reign was GOAT stuff but then? Tana held it for like a month, Jay’s reign was pandemic ruined, Ishii’s 100th run was only to drop it to EVIL and EVIL isn’t a NEVER guy with this gimmick, then he dropped it to Tama and it was cool, like, alright Tama gets a push and some momentum after being ejected from BC and he’s still being pushed…….but he still lost it in 1 month to a god damn part timer that’s washed up and doesn’t care anymore.

Like I said, terrible. For how they booked this belt since Shingo lost it, they could retire it yesterday. At the same time, Shingo is busy in 150 count matches and who is your daddy matches, basically comedy shit while feuding with good wrestlers like Taichi and ELP, wrestlers with whom he could instead have great NEVER title feuds, now THIS is fucking infuriating

  4. I am surprised that Gedo never put the 6 man tag team champion on ZSJ, Taichi and Kanemaru it would of been the first time Suzuki gun has held the 6 man belts I think

  5. Let’s not put it all on Karl. The NEVER title lost its way after the IC title was discontinued. They tried to make it the second belt for a bit, then changed their mind, and it’s been pretty directionless ever since. It should have stayed the BAMF title it unofficially was

  6. Putting the NEVER title on Karl is like losing both your legs. This comment didn’t make any sense, but neither did putting a singles title on Karl Anderson.
