Gotta love how the rest of the rest of the world noticed Japan barring gay marriage and commenting on equality issues here, meanwhile Japan’s still working on letting straight couples have different last names or arranging joint custody after a divorce.
Will they also finally respect the Hague agreement and prevent Japanese parents from kidnapping their own children while not letting the foreign parent ever see their child again?
Joint custody after divorce is long overdue, I hope it gets approved.
Good news. With the current laws, having kids in Japan seems like a really bad idea.
Should have been that way from long long ago
“Looks at introducing”, is that a fucking joke? I’m not kidding whatsoever.
“Looks at” haha nothing else to say…
Holy shit. That wasn’t a thing already?
Yikes.
“Looks at”, “considers”, “in talks about”, “discusses”, all of these words are BS and carry zero weight until decisions are actually made.
