I’ve been living here in Tokyo most of the year now and I’ve found I really like these big “Super Sento” that are around. The one hitch is that I’m a big guy (well I’m medium sized by US standards) and the robes never fit comfortably. If I buy my own will they let me use it? I’ve learned so far that some things need to be “particular” here.

If you’re a M-size in the US, you can surely fit in an XL-size yukata.
I’ve never seen anyone in a personal yukata in an encapsulated sento/onsen before, but I don’t really see it being an issue.
Did they not give you a clear answer when you called them and asked?
They have XL robes that fit 185-190cm. How ‘big’ are you? Ahaha
