Hello, I am a foreigner living in japan. I use linemo because it is cheap and all I need is data. The data has not worked for over a week now. I went to a mobile store to get some help but they couldn’t solve the issue then wanted me to switch to a plan called QU. I wasn’t comfortable with it because they stopped using the translate app when that started to happen or would speak fast japanese.
Is anyone else having a problem with linemo? I heard it has something to do with the new phone update.

Did you go over your data allowance? Did you talk to Linemo? A reseller selling UQ Mobile isn’t going to try very hard to help you with your Linemo that you got from a separate place. Maybe a SoftBank store might help, but that’s iffy too since they want it to be an online-only brand.
Do you have an iphone with the latest ios 16? I don’t much about it cause I don’t use iphones but it seems like it did break service for some people on certain carriers.
No issues with linemo for me? Maybe redownload the apn settings

Linemo works just fine here.
My phone hasn’t been updated recently, but not all phones are the same. There are different brands with different models and software versions.

If the internet isn’t working on your phone, one of the first things to try to check is your APN settings.
