I’m an international student and have had a difficult time with the can openers I have seen from daiso and can do. I’m looking for one that has a handle to twist to open cans easier. Does anyone know if I can find one here or where? I’m in shinjuku.
A side question, what are you buying in cans that doesn’t have a pull tab? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a can that requires a can opener here.

I got the ikea one (vardefull).
YouTube – “how to use a lever-type can opener”.
I actually prefer them to the twisty butterfly type. They’re more simple, easier to clean and don’t get rusty or slimy because there’s not tight spaces, cogs etc.
I got one on Amazon. I sympathise – I always end up murdering cans with the Japanese ones.
Have you tried opening Amazon and typing in “Can Opener”?
